pass the mug…

amidst a million numbers she passed the mug to me. for most sitting behind trying to negotiate trivial issues on the phone it would seem to silly. I mean who take a full mug of chai and shares it amongst two people. Why would you want to have it just that way. The chaiwala called is a balti.. n wondered why it was so important to take it in the same cup.

Frankly I had never thought about it either. But today when it got passed to me. I realised what it really meant.

A sip,

A sigh,

A thought in the sky,

A wish,

it would end – the day n the work.

Waiting just for the dark.

The silence

lonliness – me and the music

Is all i await for ever since the morning.

Wish it would end – the day n the work.

But there was something in mug

and sometimes a little slug…

Wish it would end – Just the day n the work.

Wish it would go on… the sip, the sigh and the thought in the sky

  1. Some deep meaning in it? or just ruminating over some wonderful past? but pretty easy going and relaxed approach.
