100 Hours 100 Pictures #7

Lighthouse, Panjim, Goa

I have always been fascinated by a lighthouse. I think its got to the numerous shots in films that we have seen with all kind of thrilling action scenes. This one in particular seemed as if there were many a stories about it. We were walking to the Kala Academy one evening when we just happen to come towards the deck. Mostly secluded the Kala Academy overlooks this beautiful stretch of land. This photo holds memories of Goa and the 3 weeks I spent there while relaunching the music and content positioning of a radio station. I discovered alot of Konkani and Marathi music and local theatre art. It is commendable how the city is perceived so differently by locals as compared to that by tourists. It almost seems two worlds that are poles apart. Some more GOA shots coming up over the next few days.
