100 Hours 100 Pictures #40

My version of a Christmas tree in Bhutan

When we reached Paro in August 2007, Paro greeted with lovely colors, mostly shades of green and blue. Everything was beaming with life except this particular tree. While it looked a sturdy and huge christmas tree, it had lost all its leaves. What was beautiful though was the fact that even without it being a part of the larger canvas, it fit perfectly with the blue sky and the clouds in the background. The sheer colors are overwhelming in this city.
