100 Hours 100 Pictures #42

Sabarmati, Ahmedabad

Very rarely did you get to see water in our usually dry Sabarmati river in Ahmedabad. But in the recent past it has been interesting to see the waters being pumped in here. We have beautifully bridges but at times the dry river seemed to disappoint people. Not anymore! Now there is a beautiful riverfront as well for people to go enjoy the river banks in style. But this shot was taken much before that and happens to touch my heart everytime I look at it, as it reminds me of my city that has great character with style.
